Always Playing With Paper - The Challenge #90

I created this card to enter it in the current challenge at Always Playing With Paper. The colour inspiration is one of my favourites.

I used this awesome stamp set I recently purchased from The Ton Stamps called City Girls: Book Life. I stamped the images I needed on watercolour paper with Versamark black ink and heat embossed it with clear embossing powder. This is the best way to avoid inks running when water colouring.

Using my Zig Real Brush Markers, I water coloured the images.

and created a tag from the leftover water colour paper piece, Using Tim Holtz Distress Inks (spiced marmalade, peeled paint, worn lipstick) I inked the edges of the tag and added a glittery green brad from my stash.

This is the final assembled card. I added some sequins and clear word stickers from my supplies and affixed the tag to the black and white background card base I made previously. Hope you like it!
