Challenge Entry - Scrapping Good Time
Hi again! Today I'm sharing a card I created to enter in the Bonus Challenge for a FB group I follow called Scrapping Good Time. This is the inspiration photo :
And here is my take on the Challenge inspiration:
To create the spotty background I used a circle stamp from Simon Says Stamp called Big Perfect Shapes and Tim Holtz Distress Inks (worn lipstick, fossilized amber, candied apple and faded jeans) and randomly stamped the circle directly onto a blank white card.
I decided to fill in the white spaces with a small solid circle stamp image from Paper Smooches set called Hullabaloo and Hero Arts Shadow Inks (Bubble Gum and Soft Stone).
Next I cut two circles from My Little Paper World die set called Tribal Circle Dies. I love the design on the edges these dies create.
I stamped the kitty image, balloon and "happy" word from Simon Says Stamp set called Baby Party Animals with Versafine Onyx Black ink and coloured with some copic markers.
To assemble my card I "popped" the black circle with double sided foam squares and die cut the "birthday" word from gold glitter card stock and Simon Says Stamp "birthday" word die.
Hope you enjoyed this post. Wish me luck!!
