A TOUCH OF GOLD
Today I created a simple card for Paru's Card Making Challenge called a Touch of Gold. I was inspired to enter this challenge as I love using gold, sparkle and glitter on my projects whenever I can.
I began by stamping three cute little kitties from Mama Elephant Little Cat Agenda stamp set onto some little tags I cut using Pretty Pink Posh Stitched Tags die.
Then I simply coloured the images using a few colours of Zig Clean Colour Markers.
I attached some gold ribbon from my stash to each tag and found a piece of patterned paper with gold hearts in my "huge" paper scraps box which was perfect for the background of my card. I die cut "happy birthday" words from a MFT die and affixed both the background paper and the sentiment to the front of a white blank card.
To finish, I attached the little kitty tags with double sided foam tape to give some dimension to the card.
Hope I have used enough touches of gold !! What do you think?
Thanks for stopping by.
