Cosmos Background - Simon Says Stamp
Hello! I'm back after taking a little break from my blog to take care of a few overdue jobs including having a massive clean out of my craft room. Very happy with the way its organised now and feeling motivated to create in my space.
Although I haven't been blogging, I have still been making lots of cards. Starting off with these 3 cards I made using one of my new stamps called Cosmos Background by Simon Says Stamp. It's so pretty and versatile for many occasions.

For my first card, I stamped Cosmos Background using Versafine Black Onyx stamp pad and heat embossed it with Simon Says Stamp Clear Embossing Powder.

Using three shades of blue Zig Real Brush Markers and a water brush, I coloured the pretty flowers.

After attaching the background to a square card front, I stamped the sentiment onto a strip of black card stock and heat embossed with Simon Says Stamp White Embossing Powder. The sentiment is from a Unity Stamps stamp set called Her Day.

To finish my card, I used Nuvo Crystal Drops Bright Gold to highlight the flower centres.

For my second card, I once again stamped the Cosmos Background this time using Versamark stamp pad and Nuvo Embossing Powder Gold Enchantment. This is such a gorgeous gold embossing powder. I love the way it sparkles1

Next I once again used Zig Real Brush Markers in shades of pink/lilac to colour the flowers.

I attached the background to a square card, and prepared a sentiment strip from Clearly Besotted Fresh Flowers stamp set, which is an older stamp set with lovely sentiments.

For the third card I stamped Cosmos Background onto a black card stock and heat embossed with Ranger Embossing Powder Polysparkle.

I used some Prismacolour pencils to add some soft shading to a few flower images.

After affixing the background to a square card, I glued some 2Crafty chipboard words which I had previously painted to complete the card.

Hope you enjoyed these cards. Will be back soon with another blog post sharing more cards. Thanks for stopping by.
