CARD PROJECTS - HONEYBEE STAMPS, YOUR NEXT STAMP & MFT
Well its been a little while since my last post and lots has been happening but I'm back now and plan to keep many more posts coming with lots of new projects.
To start off I'm sharing a few cards I have been working on lately.
For my first card, I stamped Forest Friends by Honeybee Stamps with my Mini Misti stamping tool and fussy cut it.
I coloured the cute images using Nuvo alcohol markers which are a new product to me. I was happy with the results using these markers.
I used blue glitter card stock to cut the Hooray die also from Honeybee stamps. This is a great die as it has a background as well to create the shadow effect as shown here.
For the background, I simply used these Distress Oxide inks to create a pretty colourful background.
To complete my card I attached the cute image with mounting foam to give some dimension and cut a heart balloon from Mama Elephant Party Kit die set. To finish off I affixed the Hooray sentiment with some glue and affixed a few gold sparkles from my stash.
For my second card, I used the very cute MFT New Best Friend stamp set which I stamped using the Mini Misti stamping tool and cut them using the matching dies.
I coloured the images using copic markers this time and the background was created with Tim Holtz/Sizzix Embossing Folder and lightly brushed Spun Sugar Distress Ink over the raised areas to create a soft colour on the background.
I die cut Simon Says Stamp Happy Birthday Circle die from some red glitter card stock as well as some mini hearts and affixed all the elements to the front of the card piece.
To finish the card I covered the card base with some spotty pink paper from my stash and attached the panel to it.
For my final card, I used the very cute monsters from Your Next Stamp Silly Monsters 2 stamp set. These little images are so much fun to colour and embellish with google eyes for an extra pop.
Once I stamped the images I coloured them with copic markers and fussy cut them all.
For the background I layered navy card stock on the card base followed by Lawn Fawn Quilted Backdrop die in green.
To finish I assembled the cute little monsters on the layered background, stuck on some google eyes and die cut Lawn Fawn Happy Birthday border. Finally I randomly stuck down some glossy navy stars to add a finishing touch.
Thanks so much for visiting. See you soon !
