SCRAPBOOK BOUTIQUE - JULY 2018 CHALLENGE
Here is my entry for the challenge over at Scrapbook Boutique this month. I must admit I struggled a little to come up with an idea for this one being so "white" and "wintery". I usually love to create cards with lots of colour! So this is my take on the mood board:
I started by die cutting a background using Lawn Fawn Stitched Windy backdrop die from a neutral colour piece of Bazzill card stock. I love the design of this die cut and thought it matched well with the winter theme.
Next I stamped some cute winter critters from WPlus9 Winter Pals stamp set and cut them with the co-ordinating die cuts. I kept the colouring very minimal in keeping with the mood board theme and only used three copic markers blending out the colours with the colourless blender pen.
Now it's time to assemble the card. I arranged the cute critters on the die cut panel and cut out some little clouds from Echo Park. I stamped a sentiment from the WInter Pals stamp set and affixed all the elements to the card panel.
Finally, I attached the panel to a white card base and finished off with some snow drops using Nuvo Crystal Drops Morning Dew which were a little hard to show up in the photo.
