FUSION CARD CHALLENGE : Fusion Galaxy
This is my first time participating in the Challenge at Fusion and I chose to create a card using the inspiration photo.
For my galaxy card, I decided to use Lawn Fawn Upon a Star stamp set to create a scene with the cute critters looking up at the night sky enjoying some fireworks and stars.
The fireworks are from a stamp set from The Ton called Pyrotechnics and the constellation stars are also from Lawn Fawn Upon a Star. I heat embossed these images onto a piece of watercolour paper with embossing powders and then created a watercolour wash with Distress Inks (dusty concord, chipped sapphire and stormy sky) for the sky background. The critters were heat embossed onto a scrap piece of watercolour paper, coloured with Zig Real Colour Markers, fussy cut and attached to the front of the card panel. To finish off I heat embossed the sentiment from Lawn Fawn Upon a Star and then attached the watercolour card front to the card base.
